  3. *sigh* well, i've finally been able to dial up my SLIP account,
  4. however, i've only been able to make NCSA Mosaic work even half
  5. correctly.
  6.  
  7. I get "IP header checksum error" every so oftenwhenever i try to start
  8. up a telnet or a winvn session.  anybody have any ideas? (this is if i
  9. enable IP messages in TCPMAN.  telnet sessions never start, neither do
  10. winvn sessions.
  11.  
  12. this is really frustrating, i might add.

  102. I have had the same trouble with Century Software WTERM after up
  103. grading from Win 3.1 to WFWG 3.11.  The century people believed
  104. that the problem had to do with incompatibility between some
  105. of the new 32-bit code in WFWG 3.11 and the winsock.dll.  What
  106. ever the cause, the recommendation was to discontinue 32-bit
  107. disk and file access (virtual memory settings) and to load all
  108. the TCP/IP communications files as DOS TSRs.  That corrected
  109. the IP communications problems but it prevents you from being
  110. able to share data with other work group peers.
