- greetings,
-
- *sigh* well, i've finally been able to dial up my SLIP account,
- however, i've only been able to make NCSA Mosaic work even half
- correctly.
-
- I get "IP header checksum error" every so oftenwhenever i try to start
- up a telnet or a winvn session. anybody have any ideas? (this is if i
- enable IP messages in TCPMAN. telnet sessions never start, neither do
- winvn sessions.
-
- this is really frustrating, i might add.

- I have had the same trouble with Century Software WTERM after up
- grading from Win 3.1 to WFWG 3.11. The century people believed
- that the problem had to do with incompatibility between some
- of the new 32-bit code in WFWG 3.11 and the winsock.dll. What
- ever the cause, the recommendation was to discontinue 32-bit
- disk and file access (virtual memory settings) and to load all
- the TCP/IP communications files as DOS TSRs. That corrected
- the IP communications problems but it prevents you from being
- able to share data with other work group peers.
